The weather station is located on Chesil Beach, Dorset, UK, at 50 35.1N, 2 28.9W. The station equipment is a Davis Vantage Pro II unit. The sensor unit is mounted 4 metres above ground level. The data is conveyed to a PC via the Weatherlink interface using a serial port. The data is then uploaded to the internet every 5 minutes. This page automatically reloads every 2 1/2 minutes.
